    SINGTEL-FIBRE is visible on the public Internet as AS9506 and on Singaporean household bills as a large fixed-broadband service, but neither view describes the whole machine. A working connection crosses customer equipment, building fibre, NetLink Trust's passive access network, Singtel's active service, SingNet's upstream network and the labour needed to diagnose and repair faults. That division makes the service commercially simple and operationally layered: a customer can buy one line while depending on routes, facilities and crews that are not disclosed line by line.
