Why it’s important
The ‘ARIN on the Road’ workshop provides a valuable opportunity for organisations to better understand internet number resource management and the evolving challenges of IPv6 adoption and routing security. As IPv4 addresses continue to deplete, businesses must plan for a transition to IPv6 to ensure long-term network sustainability. The event also highlights best practices for securing internet routing, helping organisations mitigate risks such as route hijackingand unauthorised IP use. Additionally, attendees will gain insights into ARIN’s policies and services, enabling them to efficiently manage their IP addresses and autonomous system numbers (ASNs).
