Sonatel Opens ODC Club at Assane Seck University in Ziguinchor
Sonatel recently inaugurated a new Orange Digital Centre Club (ODC Club) at the Université Assane Seck de Ziguinchor (UASZ), in the presence of local authorities. The ODC Club, born out of a successful partnership between Sonatel and UASZ, marks a significant step forward for students in the region. This innovative centre aims to enhance students’ digital skills, foster technological innovation, and promote entrepreneurship.
This new ODC Club is Sonatel’s third, following those established at the Universities of Saint-Louis and Bambey. Specially designed to offer a modern and inspiring environment, it provides Assane Seck University students with a space conducive to creativity, research, and the development of innovative technological projects.
The inauguration of the ODC Club is the culmination of an ambitious partnership between Sonatel and Assane Seck University. This event symbolises the beginning of a promising collaboration, paving the way for a new technological and educational hub in Ziguinchor. Sonatel emphasises the strategic importance of this initiative for both the company and its commitment to quality education and technological innovation in Senegal.
The new ODC Club will offer various training courses, workshops, mentoring, and coaching to support the entrepreneurial ambitions of talented young people. The space is intended for students, teachers, institutional partners, and the local community, fostering an environment where digital skills and innovative ideas can thrive.
