The Fellowship Programme
A three-month intensive training programme designed to provide essential real-world newsroom and media production skills, as well as English language training, not available in universities.
Our programme will give you the knowledge and skills required by top media organisations such as CNN, the BBC, South China Morning Post and other top-ranked media platforms. And we will pay you too!
Successful BTW Academy Fellows will complete the full duration of the course, and be offered full-time employment roles within BTW Media, where you will have the chance to travel the world, meeting top tech executives and reporting on the most innovative and interesting companies.
Application requirements
- Applicants should be graduates from a respected university, in media, journalism, or related subjects.
- Applicants should be able to work remotely during the three-month Fellowship (a good internet connection is a necessity), from 9am to 5pm weekdays, Hong Kong time.
- Applicants should be willing to work in BTW offices in Hangzhou, China, or in Hong Kong, if they successfully complete the programme.
