The company has to sell proof: proof that it controls a real network edge, proof that it can coordinate wholesale suppliers without losing accountability, proof that support staff will answer when a customer's sites or handsets fail, and proof that its routing hygiene is strong enough for buyers who cannot afford avoidable reachability trouble.
