AlterTEL hat die Rechtsform eines polnischen Telekommunikationsunternehmens, die öffentlichen Routing-Identifikatoren eines kleinen Internetanbieters und die kommerzielle Haltung einer Warschauer Technik-Werkstatt. Diese drei Fakten machen es interessanter als eine einfache Liste lokaler Anbieter. Sie machen es auch schwerer zu bepreisen.

AlterTEL has the internet identifiers of an operator, the Polish authorisations of a fixed-voice provider and the public presentation of a technical-service company. Those three identities meet in Warsaw, but they are not interchangeable. The commercial question is therefore unusually physical: when AlterTEL sells a business connection or an IP-telephony service, which part of the path can its own people restore, which part belongs to an upstream or building provider, and has the price allowed for the difference?
