WiseTech Global's CargoWise service turns freight operations into a software subscription, but the subscription still lands on physical equipment in Sydney, Chicago, Hamburg and selected regional cloud environments. The revealing question is not whether WiseTech has a cloud platform. It plainly does. It is how much of that platform remains usable when a rack, carrier, software release or support channel fails, and what a South African customer can actually infer from a Johannesburg office, a dormant US autonomous system and contracts that permit data to cross borders.
