It is important because it shows how a provincial cable operator can become a real internet access network: small in address resources, intensely local in customer relationships, dependent on national backhaul and Manila interconnection, and forced to defend its relevance as Philippine fixed broadband moves from coaxial television bundles toward fiber, fixed wireless, and platform-scale competition.
