  • Tech Mahindra partners with Nvidia and AWS to introduce an AI model for telecom network automation.
  • The AI model aims to enhance network efficiency, reduce costs, and improve operational autonomy.

What happened: Tech Mahindra’s AI-driven telco transformation

Tech Mahindra, in collaboration with Nvidia and AWS, has launched an AI model designed to transform traditional telecom networks into fully autonomous systems. This initiative leverages Meta’s Llama 3.1 8B Instruct framework, NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, and AWS cloud infrastructure to enhance network automation and operational efficiency. The AI model is tailored to improve network agility, reduce costs, and increase resilience through proactive issue detection and autonomous problem resolution.

The initial implementation phase includes two AI-driven use cases: Dynamic Network Insights Studio and Proactive Network Anomaly Resolution Hub. These applications provide comprehensive network insights and autonomous anomaly resolution with minimal human intervention. The architecture of this AI solution includes efficient network data ingestion, AI-enhanced data curation, and automated issue resolution, working synergistically to facilitate rapid service restoration and operational continuity.
