    OUR TAKE
Shanghai Binling Network Technology, led by Zhang Minxuan, has set itself apart as a company at the crossroads of gaming, online education, and artificial intelligence (AI). This combination shows how the company is using the best of each area to get users more engaged and improve learning results. They’re using AI to make gaming more immersive while making educational content more interactive and personalised. This integration is not just fascinating but also essential for pushing the boundaries of what’s achievable in both the education and entertainment industries.

    What happened

Shanghai Binling Network Technology has taken an innovative approach to integrating artificial intelligence technology into games and online education. The company has developed a series of games that use AI not only to enhance graphic design and user interfaces, but also to create adaptive learning environments within the games themselves.

“AI can be fully integrated into the entire game development process. For example, in the past we had to use a Wacom hand drawing board or hand drawing screen to draw, but now we can use midjourney and stable diffusion to draw through text-to-diagram or diagram-to-diagram,” the company’s founder Minxuan Zhang said.

The company is also using AI to provide personalised learning experiences in online education. By analysing user data, the platform can suggest courses, anticipate learning challenges and tailor content to individual learning speeds and preferences. This level of personalisation has been achieved by developing sophisticated AI algorithms capable of interpreting vast amounts of educational and behavioural data.

    Why it’s important

Binling Network Technology’s integration of gaming, online education and AI is more than just a technological development, it is a breakthrough approach that could redefine the traditional learning and gaming industries.

“Traditionally, gaming and education have seemed incompatible. But things are starting to change,” said Minxuan Zhang. By merging these fields, Binling has created a dynamic ecosystem where educational content is engaging and gaming is enriching and educational. This synergy not only increases the appeal of learning, but also enhances the cognitive benefits of gaming.

The company is actively using AI in its game development. “In the future, my company will purchase some game engines or templates, such as the Buildbox4 AI engine, mainly for the development of 3D AAA games,” Zhang said.

“Recently, Black Myth: Wukong was released. Judging by the trends, it could spark another wave of learning in game development, similar to what World of Warcraft did back in the day,” he added.
