Scaling smart with Voxtera
Voxtera, a global VoIP solutions provider, is helping businesses modernise communication infrastructure with scalable and cost-effective systems. In an interview with BTW Media, CEO Sarath Babu Rayaprolu (Ray) shared how the company supports organisations of all sizes—ranging from startups to multinational enterprises—by offering cloud-based, modular VoIP services.
“Our model is designed to grow with the client,” Ray explained. A startup, for instance, may begin with basic call features for a small team, then gradually expand to include video conferencing, advanced call routing, and CRM integration as operations scale. Voxtera’s flexible deployment avoids heavy upfront investment and follows a “pay-as-you-grow” philosophy.
One use case involved a call centre starting with just five seats, later expanding to dozens as demand increased. “You don’t need to build the whole infrastructure on day one,” Ray said. “We provide the flexibility to evolve.”

Securing communications with AI and data protection
As the industry faces rising concerns over data privacy and spam traffic, Voxtera has made security a top priority. “Data protection is essential—telecom or not,” Ray noted. Voxtera’s platform includes end-to-end encryption, regular security audits, AI-driven threat detection, and compliance with global telecom regulations.
A key innovation is the Smart Shield system, which monitors and filters malicious or spoofed calls in real time. For markets like the US and China—both heavily impacted by spam calls—such solutions are critical. “It’s not just about blocking calls,” said Ray. “It’s about understanding the threat behaviour and responding dynamically.”
Ray also highlighted Voxtera’s commitment to staying ahead of market trends through continuous R&D and close collaboration with clients. “The key is listening to users. Their evolving needs shape our roadmap.” With a customer-centric culture, global telecom partnerships, and increasing AI adoption, Voxtera is positioning itself as a competitive force in next-generation business communications.
