    • Gartan’s expertise in fire and rescue service software complements Totalmobile’s existing solutions for emergency services.

What happened: Totalmobile enhances workforce management

Field service management provider Totalmobile has acquired Irish workforce management firm Gartan Technologies. The acquisition will see Gartan’s fire and rescue rostering and compliance software integrated into Totalmobile’s portfolio, enhancing its capabilities in emergency services. The deal also accelerates Totalmobile’s international growth, establishing a stronger presence in Ireland, the UK, and Australia. Gartan’s solutions are already in use by prominent fire and rescue services, including those in Lancashire, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, as well as New South Wales, Australia. Phil Race, CEO of Totalmobile, stated: “We are thrilled to welcome Gartan Technologies to the Totalmobile family. Their expertise dovetails perfectly with our mission to empower emergency services through innovative workforce management solutions.”

    Why it is important

By integrating Gartan’s expertise in fire and rescue rostering software, Totalmobile strengthens its portfolio, offering more comprehensive solutions to emergency services across fire, ambulance, and police sectors. This enables faster response times, improved operational efficiency, and compliance with regulations, which are vital in saving lives during emergencies. The deal also supports Totalmobile’s global growth, expanding its footprint in the UK, Ireland, and Australia while paving the way for further international expansion. Gartan’s existing partnerships with prominent fire and rescue services, including those in New South Wales, Australia, and Northern Ireland, bolster Totalmobile’s customer base and industry reputation.

By combining resources and driving innovation, the two companies actively address the evolving needs of emergency services. They deliver cutting-edge workforce management tools that enhance reliability, boost operational flexibility, and strengthen critical response capabilities in high-pressure environments.
