    StepN launches $30M airdrop campaign to reward loyal community

    • StepN, a fitness app allowing users to earn rewards for physical activities, announced a $30 million airdrop campaign as a gesture of appreciation to its loyal community, distributing FSL points based on users’ in-app achievements.
    • The FSL points, redeemable at a 1:1 ratio for StepN’s GMT token, can be used in upcoming StepN NFT mints and spent in the ecosystem’s NFT marketplace Mooar and strategy game Gas Hero, requiring users to sign up for an FSL ID to claim the points.

    Move-to-earn lifestyle app StepN, built on the Solana blockchain, is airdropping 100 million FSL points, worth approximately $30 million, to its users.

    StepN airdrops FSL points to reward loyal community

    StepN, the innovative fitness app, has unveiled a generous airdrop campaign of 100 million FSL points, worth around $30 million, aiming to express gratitude to its dedicated user base. According to the April 10 announcement from the firm, the FSL points are redeemable at a 1:1 ratio for StepN’s GMT token and can also be used in upcoming StepN nonfungible token (NFT) mints alongside obtaining exclusive prizes.

    “We have decided to launch this huge airdrop campaign as a token of gratitude to our most loyal community members,” said Shiti Manghani, CEO of StepN.  

    “The first airdrop of this week, for our Badge Holders, was dedicated to our core players,” StepN wrote, continuing: “Those who are truly playing the hard way. For them, we airdropped an FSL Points allocation based on the complexity of their in-app achievements.”

    About StepN and GMT tokens

    Created by FSL in 2021, StepN allows users to earn rewards for walking, jogging, or running.  Users can earn rewards by purchasing virtual Sneaker NFTs and linking their smartphones, with rewards issued in the form of GMT tokens. These tokens boast a supply cap of 6 billion and a current diluted market capitalization of $1.57 billion, presenting a lucrative opportunity for users.

    Furthermore, GMT tokens can be utilized within the StepN ecosystem to mint new sneakers or advance in the game. The in-app marketplace enables users to lease or sell their NFT sneakers, with GMT revenues seamlessly managed through the in-app wallet’s built-in swap function. The lifestyle app currently has more than 5 million users.
