Mythical Games launches racing game ‘NFL Rivals’ allowing players to collect NFTs

Mythical Games, a Los Angeles-based company known for blockchain gaming, has launched “NFL Rivals,” a new mobile racing game available on both Apple and Android devices. In collaboration with CM Games and McLaren Automotive, players can compete and collect unique automotive NFTs from brands like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Pagani, and McLaren.

Series C Funding gives needed boost

This release comes after Mythical Games secured $37 million in a Series C funding round in June, led by Scytale Digital and featuring investors like ARK Invest, founded by Cathie Wood, Animoca Brands, PROOF, Stanford Athletics, MoonPay, and existing investors like Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), WestCap, Gaingels, Signum Growth, and Struck Capital.

The company’s focus on blockchain technology and NFT integration has garnered significant attention, with support from notable figures such as NBA legend Michael Jordan and venture capital firm a16z. In 2021, Mythical Games was valued at $1.25 billion.With “NFL Rivals,” Mythical Games aims to provide a unique gaming experience that combines traditional gameplay with blockchain and NFTs, allowing players to collect digital collectibles from famous car brands.
