Jenny Internet services ccross Southern Africa

Jenny Internet (Pty) Ltd started operations in 2007 in South Africa. The company originally offered fixed wireless internet. The name comes from a server labelled “Jenny” used by the founders. Jenny now operates in Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Lesotho, eSwatini, and Mozambique. The company manages over 500 wireless towers in these countries. It provides uncapped internet through both fibre and wireless networks. Jenny serves homes, small businesses, mining operations and rural communities.

The company also offers point-to-point connectivity, VoIP, cloud PBX, backup services and hotspots. It sells web hosting and email services. A national call centre handles customer support. Local engineers manage installation and service issues. The firm holds telecommunications licences in each operating country. Jenny builds its services around accessibility and scale. It works to expand network access in both high-demand and underserved regions.

Network infrastructure and technical Operations

Jenny Internet maintains network infrastructure across multiple countries. It uses wireless towers and fibre links for coverage. The company installs point-to-point and backup links for reliability. Business clients use dedicated fibre with wireless redundancy. The network supports low-latency applications such as mining communications. Jenny provides public IP addresses and service level agreements.

The company also sells cloud PBX, VoIP and fax-out services. Technical teams operate from each country and provide 24/7 support. Jenny monitors its networks continuously to ensure performance. It uses failover systems to reduce service interruptions. The company serves both rural and urban sites using the same infrastructure. Its setup allows scale and adjustments to demand changes. Jenny combines fibre and wireless technologies to extend its reach. It supports stable data transmission for both residential and commercial use.
