    • Insist Net Limited (INET) is a leading internet service provider in The Gambia.
    • It has unveiled its new INET TV service, marking a significant step in enhancing local access to high-quality television content.
    • The launch, held at the company’s head office in Fajara, introduces a comprehensive streaming solution that promises to transform the viewing experience for Gambian customers.

INET’s launch of INET TV marks a pivotal moment for The Gambia’s digital landscape, offering a local solution to slow internet speeds and inaccessible foreign content. With competitive pricing for diverse content packages, INET TV enhances the viewing experience while demonstrating INET’s commitment to affordable, high-quality service. Since its inception in 2015, INET has become a major broadband provider, serving a significant portion of the Greater Banjul Area with reliable internet and innovative solutions.

A Solution to local internet challenges

We listened to our customers who faced challenges with slow speeds when accessing content from overseas servers.

Seedy Omar Bensouda, CEO of INET

Seedy Omar Bensouda, CEO of INET, shares that the inspiration for INET TV came from understanding the frustrations of local customers who struggled with slow internet speeds while accessing content from foreign servers. Many users had turned to set-top boxes to download content, often from semi-illegal sources, only to face slow speeds due to the limitations of these servers.

“We listened to our customers who faced challenges with slow speeds when accessing content from overseas servers,” Bensouda explains. “By relocating servers locally and partnering with international content providers, we’re able to offer high-speed, reliable access to a broad range of TV channels right here in The Gambia.”

    Affordable and flexible pricing

INET TV is designed to cater to diverse viewing preferences at competitive prices. The full content package, including sports, English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and various movies and sports channels, is available for approximately $19.50. For those interested solely in sports or a mix of movies, cartoons, documentaries, and international news, each package is priced at around $11.50.

The launch of INET TV is a testament to INET’s commitment to addressing local challenges and enhancing the overall internet experience. By owning its infrastructure, INET ensures high performance and reliability, setting a high standard in the industry.
