    • Liquid Intelligent Technologies is Cassava Technologies’ digital infrastructure arm, operating a pan-African fibre network, data centres, cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, and high-scale connectivity across 14+ countries.
    • Supported by major financing and strategic acquisitions, it delivers resilient, innovative services—from Azure Stack roll-outs to emergency cable restoral—underpinned by a vision of inclusive, secure digital access.

Liquid Intelligent Technologies: Pan‑African digital leader with hyperscale connectivity

Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a Cassava Technologies business, operates in 14+ African countries through a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and digital services. With over 110,000 km of terrestrial fibre, global wholesale capacity, cloud and cybersecurity solutions, and carrier-grade data centres, it supports businesses, governments, and telecom operators across the continent.

Liquid Intelligent Technologies: End‑to‑end digital services & innovation

Liquid offers a wide range of solutions: managed cloud, cyber security, IoT, connectivity, wholesale infrastructure, and Africa Data Centres—the region’s largest independent network of carrier- and cloud-neutral facilities. Its digital portfolio also includes Microsoft Azure Stack deployments (e.g., Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia), AI platforms like CassavaAI, and networked Metro Rings enabling high-speed data access in cities like Gaborone.

Liquid Intelligent Technologies: Strategic growth backed by partnerships and acquisitions

Following its 2021 rebranding from Liquid Telecom, the company has secured over US $750 million in financing, including R900 million from IFC & RMB for South African expansion, and a $50 million sustainability-linked loan from IFC to drive green data centre growth. Acquisitions such as Telrad and Cysiv MEA strengthen its tech and security presence across Africa and the Middle East.

Liquid Intelligent Technologies: Resilient network and crisis management

In 2024, when several submarine cables failed, Liquid deployed 2.5 Tbps of restoration capacity across more than 100 circuits to maintain uninterrupted service for its wholesale clients—demonstrating its operational robustness.

Liquid Intelligent Technologies: Vision and values for an inclusive digital future

Liquid’s ambition is a digitally connected Africa “where no one is left behind.” Guided by values of stewardship, dependability, honesty, and innovation, it aims to deliver secure, sustainable, and high-performance infrastructure for both public and private sectors.
