This new infrastructure comprises two rings: one connecting Frankfurt, Berlin, Warsaw, Katowice, and Prague, and the other linking Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Vienna, and Bratislava, creating a cohesive fiber optic system.
The launch of Points of Presence (PoPs) in Prague and Bratislava has been crucial for this expansion, as they integrate previously separate network segments into two fully operational DWDM rings. These locations are set to become essential nodes for managing traffic from Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
