Flight Centre Travel Group’s Independent division ushered in a new era by launching a prestigious brand, Envoyage. This global brand provided a polished, distinct visual identity reflecting the Group’s comprehensive technological prowess, global community, and product marketplace. Envoyage was designed to offer a welcoming space for independent travel agents, while presenting a connection between “envoy” and “voyage.” The bridge in the logo symbolised both the growth journey for agents and agencies and the adventures awaiting customers.

Independent travel expansion
The new brand further elevated Flight Centre Travel Group’s Independent division by specialising in corporate and luxury travel, expanding its presence in these lucrative markets. Global Leisure CEO James Kavanagh emphasised that the investment in Envoyage would nurture the Group’s growing potential within the independent travel sector. Kavanagh stated that they envisaged Envoyage becoming the most comprehensive, trusted, and recognised independent travel brand globally, signalling its significant role in the company’s future business model.

Comprehensive market research
Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director of Luxury and Independent Brands, highlighted Envoyage as the culmination of extensive market research and industry consultation. The compelling brand proposition conjured aspiration, security, and a strong association with travel and personalisation. Galloway expressed enthusiasm in welcoming existing agents and agencies, as well as newcomers, into the Envoyage family. The roll-out commenced in the USA in March, followed by launches in Canada, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
