DiVA Cohort 3 ignites Sarawak’s digital future

The official launch of the third cohort of the Digital Village Accelerator (DiVA), a joint effort by Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) and NEXEA.

This flagship programme within the Sarawak Digital & Innovation Ecosystem attracted over 190 startup applications, signalling a vibrant push towards fostering innovation in Sarawak’s digital and creative industries.

Navigating the innovation journey with DiVA’s specialised support

DiVA aims to cultivate a thriving innovation community by providing essential resources and support to entrepreneurs and tech startups in Sarawak.

Participants in this round will benefit from specialised mentorship, industry-specific guidance, and the potential to secure substantial financial backing, including SDEC grants and investments.

The selected startups will embark on a journey of growth and development, engaging in personalised mentoring sessions, workshops, and networking events.

Renowned investor mentors such as James Graham, Alan Lim, Jonah Lau, and Dato Patrick Liew will share their expertise to steer the startups towards success.

DiVA Cohort 3 champions innovation in diverse sectors

Six standout startups from Sarawak have secured their spots in DiVA Cohort 3, showcasing innovation in various fields.

1. MyScripts: revolutionising medication management with MyScriptsOS, tailored for community pharmacies and end-users.

2. Fly Technology Agriculture: aiming to tackle environmental challenges by utilising organic waste to feed black soldier fly (BSF) larvae, offering a sustainable solution.

3. Nebula: introducing a cloud gaming platform driven by gamers, akin to Netflix, enabling gaming enthusiasts to play the latest games across devices via remote gaming computers.

4. Beli Beli SuperApp: offering a subscription-based super app that encompasses delivery, ehailing, online mall, and on-demand services.

5. Satok Bridge: leveraging AI and IoT technologies to address contemporary issues through innovative solutions.

6. Formeta PLT: originating from the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), focusing on drone technology, AI, IoT, blockchain, and science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) training initiatives.
