4. Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi finally say they will use Tesla’s EV charging plug

The transition from CCS1 to NACS will happen gradually. Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Scout Motors today announced plans to implement the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for future vehicles in North America starting in 2025. This means that, unlike most other companies already committed to NACS, Volkswagen Group’s existing vehicles will not be able to use superchargers via adapters by 2024.
