    Who is the Nexperia CEO?

    • After Nexperia former CEO Frans Scheper retired on March 25, 2020, Xuezheng Zhang (Wing) became CEO of Nexperia.
    • Frans Scheper would continue to serve as a private advisor to the board for a period following his retirement, assisting with the smooth transition.

    Xuezheng Zhang (Wing) is the CEO and CHRO of Nexperia, a global semiconductor company specialising in discrete, logic, and MOSFET devices. Zhang’s experience in the semiconductor industry and his strategic vision for Nexperia equip him well to steer Nexperia through its next phase of growth and innovation.

    Profile of Xuezheng Zhang

    As CEO and CHRO of Nexperia, Xuezheng Zhang is leading the Executive Management Team(EMT) to guide the company to market growth and to maintain its leadership. Before Nexperia, Zhang ​founded Wingtech Technology in 2006 -Nexperia’s current controlling shareholder- where he also serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive. ​

    Before founding Wingtech, Zhang had a successful career in companies such as STMicroelectronics. He holds an IE Bachelor’s degree from Guangdong University of Technology, an EMBA degree from Tsinghua University, and Finance Ph.D. of Tsinghua University /University of Geneva.
