AI girlfriends: Top 10 countries for artificial romance

  • According to a survey from DailyAI, the country most interested in AI girlfriends is Singapore, with an average of 31 searches per 100,000 people per month.
  • China, India, and Japan are the least interested in AI girlfriends.
  • Ireland saw the biggest year-on-year increase in searches for AI girlfriends, with a 631% increase.

The popularity of AI chatbot simulations devoted to girlfriends has exploded in recent years. Instead of using traditional dating apps to find true love, more and more lonely men are entering the new world of artificial girlfriends through AI chatbots. This investigation shows the number of countries interested in AI girlfriends.

Singapore is the country most interested in AI girlfriends

According to the survey, Singapore emerged as the country most interested in AI girlfriends, with 31 searches per 100,000 people per month, a 307% increase in searches year-on-year.

Singapore is considered one of the leading countries in artificial intelligence.

It was ranked third in the 2023 Global AI Rankings and is recognised as an early adopter of various AI capabilities.

As artificial intelligence is booming in Singapore, Singaporean men’s interest in AI girlfriends has become higher, and the demand for AI romance is growing.

China, Japan, and India are least interested in AI romance

China and Japan are currently facing a demographic crisis.

China’s population is set to decline for the second consecutive year in 2022, according to a Chinese survey, with many young people citing the cost of living and career priorities as reasons for not wanting children after the new crown epidemic blockade.

Although China’s AI is also growing by leaps and bounds, the country’s population base is so large that even though the population is declining, it doesn’t mean that China’s demand for AI girlfriends is increasing.

However, it’s worth noting that Google search data from China isn’t always accurate, as Google is unavailable in much of mainland China, so China’s interest in AI girlfriends may be stronger than reflected here.

The situation in Japan is similar to that of China.

2023 The number of newborns in Japan has declined for the eighth consecutive year. Japan’s high cost of living, a stagnant economy and wages, limited space, and the country’s demanding work culture are at the centre of the decline in the birth rate. This could lead to a decline in interest in dating or marriage in favour of AI girlfriends.

Japan’s biggest dating app Koi Suru AI has even launched an AI girlfriend service in the hope that it will “inspire a desire for more realistic romantic relationships with real people,” but as these findings suggest, Japan’s single population may not be interested in any romantic relationships at all.

Ireland sees biggest year-on-year increase in searches for AI girlfriends

Of the 20 countries surveyed, Ireland saw the largest year-on-year increase in searches.

AI girlfriend searches increased by a whopping 631% year-on-year, with an overall occurrence rate of 19.68 searches per 100,000 people. This puts Ireland in ninth place among the countries most interested in AI girlfriends.

According to The Sun reported earlier this year, AI girlfriend Lexi Love, created by Foxy AI, earns US$30,000 per month as an AI girlfriend.

While many people still have a lot of misconceptions about AI girlfriends, there’s no doubt that using AI in relationships has been a new trend. The demand for this is also increasing among many people.
