    A ransomware attack has severely disrupted services at several of London’s busiest hospitals. The incident, which targeted Synnovis, a major provider of laboratory services, has significantly impacted Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, and primary care services in south east London. The NHS England London region is working to address the disruption and ensure the continuity of essential healthcare services.

    Ransomware attack on Synnovis

    On Monday, Synnovis, a provider of laboratory services, fell victim to a ransomware attack. This incident has significantly disrupted the operations of Synnovis, impacting its ability to provide essential lab services.

    Impact on London hospitals

    The ransomware attack has had a considerable effect on some of London’s busiest hospitals.
