What happened 

Bee AI is an emerging startup focused on developing wearable AI assistant technology. The company recently closes a $7 million funding round led by Exor to further develop its products which learns a user’s habits and preferences by listening to them to provide personalised services. Bee AI’s device is designed to be a wearable assistant, aiming to reduce reliance on a phone’s microphone to provide a more convenient user experience.

Maria de Lourdes Zollo, co-founder and CEO of Bee AI, emphasises that although the company’s core is software, they have developed an accompanying hardware device in order to provide a smoother experience. The device, which is currently in beta testing, performs basic reminder and note-taking functions and plans to offer deeper personalised services such as reading notifications, composing emails or tweets, and providing shopping suggestions based on the user’s needs.

Bee AI plans to begin accepting orders by Black Friday, with pricing at $49 and a monthly subscription fee of $19. Investors have expressed confidence in Bee AI’s team and vision for their ability to succeed in the wearable technology and AI.
