NTT Data, the Japanese IT infrastructure giant has launched its new Edge AI platform, a groundbreaking solution designed to expedite artificial intelligence processing at the data source. This fully-managed service consolidates a multitude of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, systems, and data, facilitating immediate decision-making, operational improvements, and secure AI deployment across sectors, driving Industry 4.0 advancements.

Targeting IoT devices, manufacturing, and industrial contexts, NTT Data’s Edge AI platform provides an all-encompassing managed service. It addresses data discovery, aggregation, integration, computational power, seamless connectivity, and AI model governance, overcoming ‘shadow IoT’ challenges and fulfilling AI infrastructure needs.

Supported by NTT Data’s data scientists and global technical expertise, the Edge AI platform automates the discovery, consolidation, and processing of data from IoT devices and IT assets, streamlining AI deployment and oversight.
