    • GENM hosted an iftar for 25 children from Rumah Titian Kaseh, an orphanage and a care centre for single mothers located at Titiwangsa, at Resorts World Awana, blending culture and sustainability.
    • Activities included a Nature Walk, seed planting, and creating an Earth Hour-themed mural, led by G3 volunteers.
    • The event concluded with a buka puasa buffet, with children receiving duit raya and gifts from GENM executives.

Genting Malaysia (GENM), an integrated resort operator, hosted 25 underprivileged children from the Rumah Titian Kaseh orphanage for an iftar event at Resorts World Awana. This special occasion combined cultural observance with a focus on sustainability, aligning with the themes of Ramadan and Earth Hour.

The day’s activities, led by G3 volunteers, included a Nature Walk along the Awana Trail, seed planting in the Herb Garden, and an Art Harmony session where the children created a mural featuring the G3 logo and the Earth Hour symbol. As a symbolic gesture for energy conservation and environmental sustainability, tea light candles were arranged to spell out “Earth Hour.”

The evening concluded with a buka puasa buffet at Jom Makan. In addition to the meal, the children received duit raya and gifts from Dato’ Sri Kay Atisha Parasuraman, Vice President of Corporate Communication and Public Relations, and Mr. Khew Choon Teck, Vice President of Resorts World Awana.

GENM is dedicated to fostering positive community engagement and raising awareness about environmental sustainability. This event was a testament to the organisation’s commitment to these values.
