    • Apple Vision Pro is a mixed reality headset developed by Apple, that combines the technologies of virtual reality and augmented reality.
    • Another feature of Vision Pro is the ability to stand alone while seamlessly connecting with other devices in the Apple ecosystem for cross-device interaction.

Apple Vision Pro not only allows users to experience games, movies and work in an immersive manner, but also projects the outside world into a virtual environment through sensors. With EyeSight’s reverse perspective function, it reduces the barrier between people around it and is considered a breakthrough in AR and VR technology, creating a smooth and unified digital experience for users.

Apple Vision Pro is a mixed reality headset developed by Apple, combining virtual reality and augmented reality technology to‌ enable users to experience immersive games, ‌ movies, office work and more.

At the same time, it can use the sensor on the surface of the headset to project people and objects from the outside world into the virtual world, ‌to realise the function of augmented reality. Compared with pure virtual reality or augmented reality, mixed reality puts more emphasis on real-world participation and interaction.

Performance characteristics of Apple Vision Pro

Vision Pro delivers more than 4K monocular resolution through its high-resolution micro-OLED screen, allowing users to experience unprecedented clarity. In addition, users can switch between AR and VR using knobs on the upper side of the headset, which can be operated using eye, head and hand tracking technology without a controller.

Vision Pro also puts special emphasis on the role of the eyes in interpersonal communication, so it allows people around the Vision Pro to see the user’s eyes even when wearing the Vision Pro, effectively reducing the barrier between the outside world.

Overseas Internet celebrity blogger Casey Neistat not only wear the Vision Pro to go shopping and ride the subway, but also try to sit in New York’s Times Square to watch a private movie, and even wore the Vision Pro to play skateboarding in the busy streets of New York. He hails the Vision Pro as a “glimpse into the future” of AR and VR: “The Vision Pro is not only great, it’s arguably the best technology I’ve ever used.”

Another feature of the Vision Pro is the ability to stand alone while seamlessly connecting with other devices in the Apple ecosystem for cross-device interaction. For example, when a user looks at a MacBook while wearing a headset, the MacBook’s screen can be automatically projected into space and expanded into a larger screen.

Vision Pro uses a VST solution to achieve the MR Fusion effect, which is to capture the image of the real world through the camera, and it is fused with virtual elements, and then projected to the user’s eye. Strictly speaking, the Vision Pro is a VR headset that can display external images.
