The ChatGPT developer announced collaborations on March 13, stating that they will assist in delivering news articles in French and Spanish, with the aim of providing “real-time, authoritative information to users” of their chatbot and aiding in model training.

Apart from Prisa Media and Le Monde, OpenAI claimed to have formed alliances with Spanish-language publications El País, Cinco Días, As, and El Huffpost.

According to Brad Lightcap, chief operating officer of OpenAI, The company is committed to assisting journalism, and it will use cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve prospects for content producers.
