  • The collaboration combines PNY’s AI expertise with Canonical’s open-source solutions to meet current and future AI demands.

What happened: PNY and Canonical sign strategic partnership

PNY Technologies and Canonical have entered into a strategic partnership to deliver state-of-the-art AI infrastructure solutions across the EMEA region. Under the new distribution agreement, the two companies will combine their strengths to provide cutting-edge solutions that meet the increasing demand for AI technology.

Canonical, the company behind the world’s most popular Linux distribution, Ubuntu, is renowned for its expertise in open-source software and its support for hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. PNY, with its deep focus on AI infrastructure and expertise in NVIDIA GPU technologies, will work alongside Canonical to offer scalable AI solutions designed to meet today’s market needs while anticipating future requirements.

Christophe Lacroix, Software Manager at PNY, highlighted the synergy between their AI solutions and Canonical’s Ubuntu operating system, which is widely used in both on-premise and cloud-based AI infrastructures. The partnership aims to enhance the development and deployment of AI/ML applications, ensuring flexibility, scalability, and security.
