JANOG54 Kicks Off in Nara: Bridging network innovations

The JANOG54 meeting was held in Nara City, Nara Prefecture from Wednesday, July 3 to Friday, July 5, 2024. The JANOG conference is a place where all kinds of people come together to discuss, and this year’s theme is “Connecting to the Internet.”

At present, JANOG has grown into a community of people from many different positions, and JANOG53 has more than 3,000 live participants, forming a memorable event. As of July 3, 2024, the number of registered employees of JANOG54 was 3,763.

Highlights of the conference

The meeting mainly meeting in JPRS Hall, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Room and IIJ Hall, three Hall, It includes “Network engineer redesign the L2 ring by using L3 protocol” and “JPNIC registration under world’s. “perspective” and 36 other keynote speeches.

  • Day 1: Sessions begin with “Introduction to Internet & Networks,” followed by discussions on L3 protocol and L2 loop issues.

Excellent performance

Compared with the last JANOG(JANOG53 a total of 3032 people registered, 3021 people came to the scene), this JANOG is the highest attendance rate in the history of a meeting, as high as 88.2%.
