Cathay Pacific and SITA have announced a partnership to upgrade network connectivity across 51 global airports. This agreement introduces SITA’s Connect Go service, which boosts bandwidth by up to five times current capacity while optimising costs.
The collaboration aligns with Cathay Pacific’s strategy to adopt Cloud applications while maintaining legacy systems’ performance. SITA Connect Go will provide high-speed connectivity with dual Internet options, delivering up to 300 Mbps bandwidth. The 12-month implementation phase, beginning in April 2024, will ensure seamless deployment across all airports.
