    What happened: VMO2 and Cisco’s AI-driven collaboration

Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) has entered into a strategic partnership with Cisco to improve network visibility and optimise customer experiences through AI-driven solutions. This partnership follows Cisco’s recent expansion of its Agile Services Networking, which includes two major advancements: ThousandEyes Connected Devices and Provider Connectivity Assurance. These innovations offer real-time insights into both on-network and off-network connectivity, enabling service providers like VMO2 to enhance infrastructure performance and introduce new AI-driven services.

ThousandEyes Connected Devices enhances visibility into last-mile network performance, allowing network providers to detect and resolve issues before they impact users. Meanwhile, Provider Connectivity Assurance uses AI analytics to help mobile service providers optimise network performance by reducing congestion and maximising speed. VMO2 is one of the first service providers to implement these advancements, positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven network optimisation.
