Infrastructure and technical operations at VTS

VTS manages a backbone network with about 50 radio towers. It links Ouagadougou with distant sites via fibre, including a 200 km link. The company uses advanced open network technology. It operates autonomous system AS37721 with IPv4 and IPv6 peering. VTS runs a Tier III data centre named Virtix in Ouagadougou. The data centre offers colocation, cloud and hosting services.

The firm delivers managed solutions like IP transit, VPLS and international leased circuits. Its technical team monitors network routing, bandwidth and uptime. They handle installations, troubleshooting and maintenance. VTS deploys modern backhaul radios and whitebox switches. These ensure capacity and flexibility in network growth. The company continues to enhance peering and transit links. It aligns infrastructure to support Burkina Faso’s digital growth.
