Sekiguchi, who has served as VP of SoftBank Corp.’s Global Business Division since 2019, brings extensive experience and strategic vision to his new role. He succeeds Ricardo Olloqui, the founding CEO, who will transition to the role of executive chairman while maintaining his position as President of BTS.
The company has achieved remarkable success since its inception in 2017, transforming a declining business into a profitable venture with over 90% market share in Japan’s overseas traffic termination sector.
