This strategic move expands RETN’s Pan-Eurasian network, connecting the Balkans to the Mediterranean region. The Thessaloniki PoP is integrated into RETN’s Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) backbone via Sofia, a key regional hub.
The new PoP will offer a variety of connectivity services, including Layer 3 IP Transit/DIA and Layer 2 VPN services. These solutions provide scalable, reliable, and secure network options to businesses in Greece and the surrounding areas. RETN’s partnership with LANCOM facilitated the PoP’s launch, ensuring Greek telecom and enterprise customers can access high-quality IP Transit services.
