What happened: Mavenir to provide Packet Core and IMS for OXIO

OXIO has partnered with Mavenir to enhance its Telecom-as-a-Service (TaaS) platform, enabling mobile services for MVNOs and enterprises globally. Mavenir will provide Packet Core, IMS, and next-generation messaging solutions, supporting OXIO’s goal to streamline connectivity services.

As part of the deal, Mavenir has deployed a cloud-native, container-based 4G and 5G connectivity solution, combined with its IMS and messaging platforms. These solutions support revenue growth in A2P and B2C messaging, while open APIs allow for faster third-party integration. This marks Mavenir’s first collaboration with OXIO, with plans for expansion into new markets across the Americas. Antonio Correa, Senior RVP for Southern Europe, Caribbean & Latin America at Mavenir, highlighted the scalability of their cloud-native approach, enabling rapid global deployment. OXIO’s Chief Technology Officer, Adil Belihomji, noted that Mavenir’s flexible services across Packet Core, IMS, and Messaging would help provide a seamless experience for customers launching telecom services worldwide.
