    What is ITW Asia 2024?

ITW Asia is not just another industry event but also a platform where the most important deals are made. Participants will have the opportunity to connect, share insights, and collaborate to improve accessibility, quality, and innovation within APAC’s rapidly expanding digital landscape. The event’s focus on building partnerships reflects the growing need for collaboration across various connectivity enablers, from network operators to cybersecurity experts, to address the challenges and opportunities in the region.

One of the central themes at ITW Asia this year is the reimagining of connectivity in Asia. As technological demands continue to evolve, so too does the approach to meeting those demands. From satellite operators to cloud providers, the region’s connectivity landscape is undergoing rapid transformation. The importance of these partnerships cannot be overstated, as they provide the foundation for a sustainable and interconnected digital ecosystem.

As the event unfolds, several key figures will be taking the stage to discuss critical topics shaping the future of connectivity and digital infrastructure.

    ITW 2024 Speaker profiles

Among the featured speakers is Lu Heng, CEO and Founder of LARUS Limited, a company renowned for its pioneering efforts in improving internet accessibility. Lu’s talk, titled ‘Unlocking the True Value of IPv4: Transforming the Telecom and Infrastructure Industries’, will dive into how enhancing IPv4’s market liquidity can revolutionise the telecom industry. By addressing IPv4’s undervaluation and limited liquidity, Lu aims to highlight the transformative potential of internet infrastructure beyond just internet connectivity. His innovative approach has already led LARUS to provide over 10 million IP addresses to clients across more than 60 countries, easing the pressure on Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) and contributing to a more connected world.

The discussion will delve into how cloud providers are working to reduce carbon emissions while supporting the growth of AI technologies.

Further enriching the event, Dimas Ramadhani, Principal Infrastructure Policy for Amazon Web Services in Asia Pacific & Japan, will share his insights on ‘The Irrevocable Ties of Data Centres and Connectivity’. With vast experience in developing AWS’s infrastructure in Southeast Asia, Dimas will examine how data centres and connectivity are intrinsically linked, shaping the region’s ability to scale its digital infrastructure in response to growing demand.
