    • As part of NTT Ltd, the company leverages a global footprint to support large-scale transformation and enterprise resilience.

Dimension Data Ltd: Integrated into NTT’s global operations

Dimension Data Ltd, once a standalone IT services firm based in South Africa, now operates under the NTT Ltd banner. The company is fully integrated into NTT’s global services arm, which provides digital infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cybersecurity to over 190 countries.

As part of this network, Dimension Data continues to serve clients across finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and logistics sectors. The company offers managed services for hybrid IT environments, including cloud optimisation, SD-WAN, secure edge, and AI-powered operations.

Through NTT’s global platform, Dimension Data gains access to extensive data centre infrastructure and a tier-1 IP backbone. This supports high-performance and low-latency delivery for mission-critical enterprise systems.

Dimension Data Ltd: Tackling industry complexity with scalable platforms

The IT services industry now faces several challenges. These include rising cybersecurity threats, fragmented cloud adoption, and growing pressure for sustainable IT operations. Dimension Data responds with fully managed platforms that reduce complexity and improve visibility.

NTT’s Edge-as-a-Service offering, recently expanded under its global portfolio, helps enterprises process data closer to source. This reduces latency and improves compliance. According to NTT, its edge platform supports manufacturing lines, smart hospitals, and retail analytics. The company also partners with Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, and others to deliver integrated security and automation solutions. Its Global Threat Intelligence Centre provides real-time risk insights and supports incident response at scale.

According to NTT’s official site, its unified services under brands like Dimension Data aim to deliver not just infrastructure but also “intelligent and secure” transformation. The firm operates more than 500,000m² of data centre space and manages over 1,000 enterprise networks globally. It continues to invest in sustainable infrastructure and AI tools to help businesses meet regulatory and operational goals.Dimension Data Ltd, though now part of NTT, still plays a central role in connecting enterprise systems, data, and users in a secure and efficient way.
