Why it’s important
The ICANN Fellowship Program aims to strengthen the diversity of the multistakeholder model by providing opportunities for individuals from underserved and underrepresented communities to become active participants in the ICANN community. This initiative supports ICANN’s mission to ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet.
By selecting fellows from various sectors and regions, ICANN aims to enhance the inclusivity and effectiveness of its policy-making processes. The program also seeks to foster the next generation of leaders in Internet governance, ensuring that a wide range of perspectives are represented in the development of global Internet policies.
