The technical engagement team of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has revealed plans for a series of training sessions. These sessions will cover various aspects of the Domain Name System (DNS) and are being conducted in collaboration with the Internet Service Providers and Connectivity Providers (ISPCP) Constituency.
Details of training sessions
DNS training programs are available to internet service providers (ISPs) globally, catering to both technical and non-technical personnel. These sessions will be conducted online at various times to accommodate different time zones.
DNS 101, the debut session, is set for Monday, April 29, 2024. Its main goal is to give a general overview and set the stage for the upcoming sessions.
The course will delineate the basic principles of DNS architecture, its operational mechanisms, the rationale behind its creation, and its essential functional components.
