The RIPE Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC) has announced the appointment of Gábor de Wit as its new Chief Registry Operations Officer (CROO), effective 1 May 2025. In this role, de Wit will oversee the management of Internet number resources, ensuring the accuracy and security of the registry. He brings extensive experience in Internet governance and registry operations, having previously held leadership positions at other regional Internet registries.
