    Philip leads the company to become the fastest company ever in Europe, from its founding in 2020 to becoming a double unicorn (valued at $2 billion) in 14 months, and to over 4 million customers in just 44 months. Zilch has a unique ad-subsidised business model and a mission to “eliminate the cost of consumer credit.” By the second quarter of 2024, Zilch has saved more than $500 million for its 4 million registered customers.

    Philip is a serial technology entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the fintech sector. He has received several awards, including the UK Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the credit business leader of the Year Award.

    Philip graduates with honours from the University of RAU, South Africa, where he receives his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BscIT) and BscIT Honours degrees. Philip also serves as the founding co-chair of the UK Fintech Unicorn Council (UCFT), a market-first body made up of ceos and leaders of the 25 most valuable fintech companies in the UK.
