Capacity Europe 2024 kicks off in London for global connectivity leaders

Today, Capacity Europe 2024 officially opens its doors at the Intercontinental O2 in London, gathering leaders from the global connectivity and digital infrastructure sectors. Over 3,500 professionals from more than 90 countries are set to participate in the three-day event, which runs from October 15 to 17. This annual gathering is the largest of its kind in Europe, bringing together industry giants such as Deutsche Telekom, Verizon, and Telefónica to discuss the next big steps in telecommunications, 5G, and network automation.

This year’s conference features a lineup of over 150 speakers, including top executives from major players like Zayo, Orange, and AWS, delivering keynote addresses and panel discussions focused on the future of global connectivity. Key topics on the agenda include the rapid expansion of cloud services, subsea cable innovations, and sustainable practices within the telecommunications industry.

Networking remains at the heart of Capacity Europe, with thousands of pre-arranged meetings and informal meetups throughout the event. With more than 34,000 messages exchanged through the event’s networking platform, the gathering aims to foster collaboration and deal-making among connectivity providers, cloud service operators, data centers, and other key stakeholders in the digital infrastructure ecosystem.
