EdCity’s ‘Computational Thinking’ workshops foster game creation with Microsoft MakeCode

The series of four ‘Computational Thinking’ online workshops, supported by Hong Kong Education City (EdCity), drew to a successful close in March 2024, marking a milestone achievement in digital education. Over 800 students from 105 primary and secondary schools actively participated in these enriching sessions, delving into the exciting world of game development programming. Through a combination of captivating activities and hands-on projects, attendees were immersed in a dynamic learning experience aimed at cultivating their computational thinking skills.

Throughout the workshops, participants were guided through the intricacies of game development processes, gaining valuable insights into the journey from concept to creation.
