THNIC Foundation initiates the first round of “.th ” Second-Level Domain (SLD.th) registration for 2024, running from February 1 to March 31, 2024.

A Second-Level Domain (SLD) is the part of a domain name that is located directly to the left of the top-level domain (TLD). In the case of “.th,” which is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Thailand, an example of an SLD would be “example” in the domain “example.th.” The SLD is where organizations or individuals can create unique and specific domain names to represent their online presence.

All proceeds from registrations and renewals contribute to Thai internet infrastructure and human resource development.

Individuals seeking to register an SLD.th domain can access guidelines at SLD.th.

Extending an SLD.th registration beyond the 11th year grants a special privilege, with an annual renewal fee of only 856 baht (including VAT).
