Hinduja TMT Ltd is a part of the Hinduja Group. It began as the group’s convergence arm, combining information technology, media and telecommunications. Hinduja TMT started operations in the early 2000s. It delivered IT services, business process outsourcing and software solutions to global clients. The company established delivery centres in India, the Philippines, North America and Europe. It built capabilities in voice support, non-voice processing, software development and IT infrastructure management.
Hinduja TMT achieved ISO 9001 certification and followed CMM standards. It served multiple sectors, including telecom, finance, consumer goods, and healthcare. Hinduja TMT operated a staff base of over 3,000 across different sites. It offered customised solutions for enterprise communication and back-end operations. The company also maintained a presence on major Indian stock exchanges. Hinduja TMT was among the early firms in India to pursue convergence between traditional IT services and media.

Hinduja TMT Ltd growth, acquisition and rebranding
Hinduja TMT Ltd expanded operations through acquisitions. In 2006, it acquired a business process firm based in the United States. This move increased its workforce and added delivery centres in North America. The acquisition also helped Hinduja TMT grow in areas like insurance, telecom, retail and government support services. The company used this growth to build stronger client engagement in global markets.
In 2007, Hinduja TMT underwent a rebranding process. It became known as Hinduja Ventures Ltd. This change reflected the company’s shift beyond telecom and media into wider industries. These included healthcare, hospitality and property development. The new structure allowed Hinduja TMT to take part in larger investment projects. The rebranding also helped align with the parent group’s broader ambitions. While the TMT operations continued under the new name, the legacy of Hinduja TMT remained linked to its early leadership in outsourced IT and telecom services.
