Revolutionising the insurance industry with ‘Reunion Online’
Wholly Malawian insurance firm, Reunion Insurance, launched an online portal aimed at simplifying the insurance purchase process. Dubbed “Reunion Online”, the platform was developed by ICT services provider, Globe Internet. With the facility, customers will be able to transact from the comfort of their homes and offices.
The system is poised to simplify and streamline the insurance purchasing processes, offering a user-friendly interface that ensures a hassle-free customer experience. With just a few clicks on their mobile handset, tablet, or computer whilst seated in their comfort zones, customers will explore a comprehensive range of motor insurance products tailored to meet their specific needs.
The system is developed and owned by Global Internet Limited and aimed at offering institutions to manage workflow processes in the delivery of their services. Organisations, just like Reunion Insurance, simply register with a Globe Internet powered platform, YankhoOnline, upload all its processes and your customers can easily access your services.
For paid-up services, the platform is integrated with various payment gateways such as mobile money, credit cards, and visa debit card. Currently, the system is working with Airtel Money, Mpamba, and Standard Bank.
Speaking at the launch, Reunion Insurance Technical Manager Hastings Kapesa rated the facility as a game changer in the insurance industry. “Customers can now buy, renew, upgrade or inquire about Reunion services online. Customers will also be receiving policy certificates online as a PDF copy,” he said.
