EPC expands Its reach in Asia with acquisition of ExportXcel

EPC Global Solutions, a leader in global IT asset disposition (ITAD) services, has announced its expansion into Malaysia with the acquisition of ExportXcel, Sdn. Bhd. The company, which has a strong presence in the Americas and Europe, will now operate under the EPC banner, joining multiple sister ITAD companies worldwide. ExportXcel is a well-established player in the industry, offering services such as buybacks, trade-ins, and secure IT disposal. This move marks a significant step in EPC’s strategy to expand its global operations, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.

Enhancing ITAD capabilities in Asia with ExportXcel’s expertise

With the acquisition, EPC will benefit from the addition of 42 experienced employees from ExportXcel. Based in Kuala Lumpur, ExportXcel processes up to 15,000 assets annually, contributing significantly to EPC’s ITAD capabilities in Asia. Leong Kam Moon, the founder and CEO of ExportXcel, will continue to lead the operations, building on his success in growing the company from a small three-person operation to a flourishing business over the last two decades. His leadership will be crucial as EPC expands its presence in the region, offering services to both local and multinational companies.

Strengthening CSI leasing’s global strategic alliances

The acquisition of ExportXcel aligns with CSI Leasing’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its global strategic alliances with customers. In addition to processing off-lease equipment across the Asia-Pacific region, EPC will now offer secure and sustainable IT asset disposition services for medium and large enterprises.
