DE-CIX Singapore: Upgrades service insight system with new metrics and tailored dashboards

DE-CIX Singapore PTE LTD is a subsidiary of DE-CIX, a leading global Internet Exchange (IX) operator headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Established to serve the Asia-Pacific region, DE-CIX Singapore provides robust interconnection services, facilitating efficient and secure data exchange among networks. The company is part of DE-CIX’s extensive global ecosystem, which spans over 600 cities in more than 80 countries, offering services such as peering, cloud connectivity, and private interconnects.

In a recent update, DE-CIX Singapore has significantly enhanced its Service Insight System, a platform designed to provide comprehensive visibility into network performance. The updated version of the Service Insight System comes with several improvements to make it easier to use and understand. The dashboards have been redesigned to be more user-friendly, with simpler navigation and new filters that let users view traffic data by data centre and see both incoming and outgoing traffic together. Filters now stay in place across different pages, so users don’t have to reset them each time. There are also separate dashboards for customers, resellers, and DE-CIX partners, each showing information tailored to their needs. A new metric, “Service Errors (dropped bit/s),” helps users spot problems and fix them more quickly. Overall, these updates give network operators clearer, more useful information to help them manage their systems more effectively.
